Have you ever accidentally called ?
I did and I hung up before it rang and minutes later the cops were at my door. oops.

Yes, I was trying to make a call to FL and dialed as the area code. I hung up before I finished dialing the entire number realizing I had dialed wrong. Within a few minutes I received a call from the police asking if I was OK. Very reassuring.
